How typical! The post office is so good that they have no idea how to price a stamp to make it last more than a few years. What a joke? The issue isn't that the government can't run things properly. It is that in order to run things properly they must restrict how much they can do. And in healthcare that is restrictions on access. That is all they can do. Afterall there is no example of shortages in anything the government runs, teachers, policemen, firemen, ect.
Also Jed Please explain to me the realtion of healthcare costs to bottom lines for executives? Are you making the assumption that if costs increase 87% as you state that thus executive bottomlines go up 87%?

"The advocates of socialized medicine keep telling us that everyone has access to free health care when the government runs things."

Yes Master fear maker.. we shall fear the government because they do such a terrible job in running things. They can't get the mail to my house, they don't pay my grandparents their social security check on time nor can they operate a fire department or police department properly.

"The bottom line here was rationing. "

And we shall continue to increase the bottom line for the executives, from 2000 to 2007 in California alone, health care costs went up 87%. We need to ration more profit to the 1% of income earners.. hey! I'm wondering, if I make a website like yours, how much can I make each month for being a health insurance lobbyist??
