My post was not meant as a detailed analysis. I mainly wanted to use Tanner's summary as way of showing that McCain is on the right page philisophically.

As to Laszewski, his "analysis" has the odor of partisanship about it. The tip-off is his suggestion that only "conservatives" will like McCain's free-market approach.

That Tanner (a Libertarian) likes it demonstrates that Laszewski is wrong, and hasn't bothered to see what people are actually saying about McCain's health care positions.</description>
