In her desperation to recover her lead in the Democrat presidential race, Hillary is becoming more and more shrill. The Caucus reports that she has lurched from anger to sarcasm in her attacks on Barack Obama:
Now I could stand up here and say, let’s get everybody together, let’s get unified the sky will open, the light will come down, celestial choirs will be singing …
Then she attempts to favorably contrast herself with Obama as follows:
I’m not asking you to take a leap of faith on me. I’m asking you to look at the record.
This may not, however, be a good strategy considering her actual record. Andrew Sullivan explains:
The record is that the senator’s one single attempt at policy implementation – healthcare reform – was an enormous failure … I think she’d be better off asking people to take a leap of faith, don’t you?
