Ron Paul has, at long last, decided to do the honorable thing: he’s going to stop stinking up the presidential race.
We are still in the early stages of bringing about the changes that this revolution is all about … Let us hope that we can one day look back and say that this campaign was a significant first step that signaled a change in direction for our country. Our job now is to plan for the next phase.
Uh-huh, whatever. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out, Ron. Oh, and take your wacky supporters with you.
UPDATE:
Apparently in an effort to demonstrate that they are as reality-challenged as ever, a number of Ron Paul blogs are clinging to the fantasy that he’s not quitting.

You don’t know a thing about Ron Paul. And the only one wacky is you who spends time talking about health care.
Posted 07 Mar 2008 at 1:46 am ¶great cut and paste of Ron’s words out of context…Ron is not dropping out of the race…if you were intelligent and could read, Ron said he could not win the presidential election thru CONVENTIONAL means…he did not rule out UNCONVENTIONAL means..read between the lines…
Posted 07 Mar 2008 at 1:47 am ¶When is Catron going to stop stinking up the internet with his stupidity about American politics?
Bush takes the debt up from 5.7 to over 9 trillion because of a stupid war, the other candidates except Paul and Obama supported it, and Paul and his supporters are wacky?
You should talk. But then again anyone who devotes a website to health care is a more than a little wacky.
Posted 07 Mar 2008 at 2:02 am ¶Oh shove it. When will you people admit that he’s the only honest candidate we had? And now, the American people deserve whatever they’re about to get.

All of the previous comments confirm everything David has said about Ron Paul and his disciples.

Just what the heck does this mean? Is he planning a overthrow of the White House? Sounds like a threat to me, needs to seek serious mental help.
