Hillary’s Tuzla whopper has accomplished what the Obama camp could not: it has driven Obama’s Wright problem below the fold. And it may well have destroyed what’s left of her presidential campaign.
I don’t see how she can survive the universal ridicule to which she is now being subjected—not when it is combined with the increasing number of scathing condemnations by commentators like Andrew Suliivan:
Senator Clinton’s lies and excuses about her trip to Bosnia, her naked attempt to revive the Wright controversy to damage the putative Democratic nominee and continued refusal to release her own tax returns … The Clintons have done more to reveal the truth about themselves these last few months than any of their critics have ever managed to do.
She’s toast.
