FEAR OF PALIN & PRESS PSYCHOPATHY

The “journalists” at the major broadsheets, networks, and wire services have now become indistinguishable from the psychiatric patients posting anti-Palin rants at the Daily Kos. As Michelle Malkin puts it:

Echoing the bottom-feeders in the liberal blogosphere, mainstream journalists and Obama water-carriers now question Palin’s commitment to motherhood and even challenge her prenatal care decisions in an effort to destroy her. Forget about questioning their patriotism. I question their sanity.

And, make no mistake about it, the cause of of this derangement is fear. Sarah Palin is the liberal establishment’s worst nightmare and they know it. As Peter Ferrara explains in the American Spectator:

The sharp contrast with Obama’s left-wing extremism, and the broad excitement generated by the addition of Palin to the ticket, the potential now exists for a McCain/Palin landslide. You heard it here first. I expect accolades when it happens.

The irony, of course, is that the mean-spirited mendacity of the media has made Ferrara’s prediction more likely to come true than would have been the case had the Press treated Palin with respect and honesty.

But this blindingly obvious fact is beyond the ken of partisan hacks rendered crazy by fear.

The media — online, print and broadcast — gave up any pretense of professionalism or objectivity since the announcement of Mrs. Palin on the ticket. It has been nauseating to witness what has become news.

Some of the most vile and unreasoned online reactions have come from so-called feminists.

Thank you for calling the insanity for what it is.

Of course, there is some irony in Michelle Malkin calling anyone else insane. She’s roughly as credible as Michael Moore, only on the right.

Yes, the attacks on Sarah Palin’s teenage daughter are low and unacceptable. But, everything else is just election year politics as usual. The Republican attack machine is well-oiled and quite capable of dealing with this. So, quit crying, stand it like a men, and fire back at will.

Seriously David, given that McCain has at least a 30% chance of contracting terminal melanoma in office do you really prefer her as commander in chief on the world stage rather than Obama and Biden? And as for ‘Obama’s left wing extremism’ - he’s about as left wing as a British conservative.

Marc, nobody cares what British standards are. The U.K. is embarrassingly left-wing. It’s sad what passes for conservative over there, and it’s why I’d never live in your rotting husk of a country in a million years.

After many years of Margaret Thatcher and Tony Blair that is sadly not the case. I think you must be living in a parallel universe.

It’s a country of choice for everyone from economic migrants to the world’s richest Russians and Arabs. But you’re right - we do tend to put up a no entry sign to American bigots… Try sticking to factual issues.
