Will it be the guy who openly advocated single-payer health care before he ran for President?
I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program. I see no reason why the United States of America … cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody … A single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. That’s what I’d like to see.
Or will it be the guy who proposes the souped up version of our current system described as follows by his main health care advisor:
Obama’s proposal will modernize our current system of employer and government-provided health care, keeping what works well, and making the investments now that will lead to a more efficient medical system.
Or will we perhaps get a third Obama when, after inauguration day, someone actully runs the numbers?
