Er, wrong. It’s your own Federal Trade Commission in this case.

Price gouging is a derisive phrase that leftists use to describe market forces. Marc Brown would rather see Ovation give their drug away and go out of business. Besides, a better way to lower drug prices is to do away with patents. I’d do a lot less damage than whatever solution Marc Brown comes up with.

Well, Blagojevich has not been convicted yet. I doubt he is alone in what he’s alleged to have been up to. That HT by the way to Countrydoc reveals a blogger decidedly not on your side though I reckon - I see he reports Ovation Pharmaceuticals price gouging drugs for new borns - just the sort of ‘free market’ you support.

I know you think the GOP can do no wrong, but you must be aware that Blagojevich ‘was first elected in 2002 on a promise to clean up after a Republican governor, George Ryan, who is now serving a six-year sentence for fraud, extortion, racketeering, and money laundering.’ So the Dems do not have a monopoly in wrongdoing! And forgive me, but surely in the current case the real scandal is the lack of funding for poor sick children, and what little there is you want to take away.
