OBAMA’S HEALTH CARE FRAUD

One of the funniest things about cocktail-party progressives is their seemingly limitless capacity for unintentional irony. A classic example is this post by Shadowfax, in which he recites the latest chapters in the tragicomedy known as Obamacare. The most risible section of SF’s twice-told tale is the red-herring about Richard Scott, who is among the loudest voices protesting Obamacare:

One of the few private organizations spearheading the PR war against reform, ‘Conservatives for Patients’ Rights,’ is headed by one Rick Scott.  Yeah, the same guy who was ousted by his own Board of Directors at HCA in the biggest health care fraud case ever.

Never mind that Scott was never at any time implicated in the unethical practices carried out by a few HCA hospitals, this is the way the Obots are dealing with his objections to Obamacare. They can’t deal with Scott’s substantive points, so out come the ad hominem attacks. The unintentional irony comes in, of course, with the use of the term “fraud” by anyone defending Obamacare.

Barack Obama, abetted by his accomplices in Congress, a variety of mouth breathing journalists and bought-and-paid-for bloggers, are perpetrating a fraud so majestic that it dwarfs the Madoff scandal. Under the name of “reform” they are sticking the taxpayers with an gigantic expansion of government health programs which they know perfectly well are fiscally unsustainable. .

They don’t even have a plan for getting current programs under control. Medicare, for example, has an unfunded liability of $85 trillion. That’s TRILLION. And the motley collection of lobbyists and tax-dodgers that makes up the Obama adminsistration hasn’t proposed a solution that passes the laugh test. Unless, that is, you’re actually dumb enough believe BS they put out about health IT.

Obamacare, my friends, is health care fraud of the first order.
