This passage from a recent Leno monologue pretty much captures the essence of government-run health care in general, and Obamacare in particular:

People say, ‘Oh, where do hospitals get the nerve to charge $10 for an aspirin?’ See, this is why President Obama wants to do something about healthcare in this country. See, under his plan, hospital aspirin only costs a dollar maximum. Of course, there would be a $9 tax on it.

It’s funny now. It will a good deal less amusing when the bill comes due. And, make no mistake about it,┬áthat bill is┬ácoming to a paycheck near you—-and soon.

Have you actually seen what American taxpayer actually spends on Health care?? What about the benefits?? ie cost vs benefit
The USA spends more money on Health care than any other country in the whole world – even those with universal health care……. figure that one out. What does Jo the Plumber get from the government in the way of health care today?
