The Orwellian effusions of the White House, Congress, and the establishment media often include references to ”bipartisan health care reform.” Senator Mitch McConnell, however, has a firmer grasp of reality:
The only thing bipartisan about the measure so far is the opposition to it.
Succinct and indisputable for those still grounded the the world of objective facts. But, as Doug Elmendorf has discovered, objective facts aren’t appreciated in all quarters.
