Demonstrating its fear of genuine public debate, the Obama administration has unleashed a smear campaign against concerned Americans daring to question the wisdom of Obamacare:
The White House launched a coordinated effort Tuesday to combat what it calls a “viral whisper campaign� to torpedo health care reform.
The Democratic National Committee is also participating. Echoing White House spokeman Robert Gibbs, a DNC apparatchik called anti-Obamacare protestors a mob of right-wing extremists.
These people at the White House and the DNC are the same creeps who organized the notorious “astroturf” campaigns during last year’s election. Michelle Malkin elaborates on their hypocrisy:
They sat quietly while Code Pink disrupted hearings on the Hill and harassed Marine recruiters. They looked the other way when ACORN illegally broke into homes and stormed foreclosure auctions. They gave their tacit approval to self-declared “bank terrorists� like Boston housing entitlement organizer Bruce Marks, who show up at the schools of bank executives children.
Meanwhile, all these “progressives” are as silent as the tomb about the White House request for Americans to inform on their neighbors about “rumors” and “casual conversations.”
These are scary people.
