HEALTH REFORM: HERO OF CHAPPAQUIDDICK VS. TRICKY DICK

This is from 1971. You will note that the terms of the debate haven’t changed much. Oddly, most of the medical advances that we now take for granted materialized since these exchanges took place.

Meanwhile, we struggle to decide if Kennedy’s four decades of trying (unsuccessfully) to pass Medicare-for-All is sufficient atonement for the death of a single young woman?

Perhaps the fact that that Kennedy, that paragon of virtue, enjoyed making jokes about Chappaquiddick will help some people decide if he had atoned for his crime. What a POS!
