Sarah Palin has become the only GOP voice to which anyone really listens on health care reform. Why? Because, while the rest of the Republicans try to limit their losses, Palin is actually trying to win the game.
While defanged conservatives like Newt Gingrich cozy up with creeps like Al Sharption, Sarah ignores the personal fouls to which she is consistently subjected and keeps moving the ball toward the goal:
Instead of poll-driven ’solutions,’ let’s talk about real health-care reform: market-oriented, patient-centered, and result-driven.
And would that entail?
Giving all individuals the same tax benefits received by those who get coverage through their employers; providing Medicare recipients with vouchers that allow them to purchase their own coverage; reforming tort laws to potentially save billions each year in wasteful spending; and changing costly state regulations to allow people to buy insurance across state lines.
In other words:
Rather than another top-down government plan, let’s give Americans control over their own health care.
Palin believes the good guys can actually win this if we really get in the game. And she is right. This is why people like Markos Moulitsas are so worried about the fate of the public plan.
They see Obama fecklessly stumbling around the court while Sarah Barracuda sets for a three-point shot.

Newt and other Washington politicians, past and present, beltway insiders, and players just don’t get it! Most of us have already recognized the enemy of our Republic, have recognized the subversive nature of their attack on her, and are already lined up to “charge!” Sarah Palin is the only one that apparently sees this and is taking them on directly… consequences be damned. She’s using her bullypulpit as best she can under the circumstances and instead of undermining her like almost ALL of these Republican politicians seem to be doing, they should be lining up with the rest of us. If they don’t have the balls to hit them head on at least she does. They probably sit around drinking their latte’s wondering why so many people love Sarah Palin and so many people hate her on the left. She’s one of the FEW politicians with the balls to speak plainly, the courage to live her life by her convictions, knows sacrifice and hard work, and she displays all the attributes of our founding fathers and the brave pioneers that had the spirit that made this country so great. They call her a quitter? She didn’t quit anything… she just shed the chains placed upon her by enemies of our Republic so she could continue the fight the best she can. Those of us that live in the real world know what she did and why she did it… it was best for her state and for our country. Honor and integrity are easily recognized by those of us that have to scratch out a living and don’t pal around with big shots and “players.” While we’re on the subject… McCain would have lost by 20 points if it weren’t for Sarah Palin. Anybody that says different… you can dismiss them as being detached and ignorant of the true situation or what real non-political people and real conservatives that live in the real world feel. I have a very dangerous job and in order to stay alive I have to be on “hyperalert” all the time. One of the things I have to look for is the behavior of others in certain situations. Just look at the Left. They are scared to death of her. That tells us something… those of us that really observe.

If she runs against Obama, I predict she will win in a 50 state sweep, because right thinking Americans will have had enough of Barry.
