It would appear that Steve Schmidt has a gift for unintentional irony. The architect of John McCain’s recent debacle offers his brilliant advice to the Republican Party:
As I wrote the other day, fear of Palin is nearly as strong among establishment Pubbies as it is among progressives. It was such people who made careers of being polite losers before 1994.
By the way, the goofy-looking dork sitting on Schmidt’s left is Bob Shrum, the genius who led John Kerry to defeat in 2004. We really need to take advice from losers like Schmidt and Shrum.
