DEMS BETRAY HEALTH CARE QUISLINGS

For anyone not familiar with the term “quisling,” it means “traitor or collaborator.” It entered the vernacular after WWII. Wikipedia provides the following etymology:

After Norwegian politician Vidkun Quisling, who assisted Nazi Germany to conquer his own country

This is why the term is so apposite for the people at the AMA, Big Pharma and other health industry players who collaborated with the President and congressional Democrats on Obamacare.

As I wrote here and here, these idiots thought genuflecting at the altar of ”reform” would buy them special treatment. They thought the beast would eat someone else.

They were, of course, being played for chumps by Obama and the Dems. And, according to the Washington Post, they are finally beginning to figure that out:

The industry heavyweights President Obama neutralized through the summer are agitating that the health-care bills in Congress violate agreements they made with the White House.

The quislings at the AMA were, for example, promised that planned Medicare payment cuts for physicians would be shelved. Now they are actually surprised they were lied to:

The American Medical Association is concerned because the 10-year $829 billion cost of the Senate bill does not include $200 billion in promised higher Medicare payments.

Similar betrayals are planned for Big Pharma, the insurance industry, the hospital industry, and everyone else who thought making a deal with the enemy would save them.

Meanwhile, Obama is continuing to use their collaboration, and happy talk from a variety of other chumps, as proof that there is a bipartisan consensus on Obamacare.

What a scam.
