We need two parties in this country, not just one, and it will have to be this way until our politicians are enlightened enough to start wanting to take care of ALL of the people, not just their respective self interest groups. The Republicans have been acting more and more like Democrats for the last eight years and have been getting beat up for it. The grass-roots reaction to what has happened is the natural result of an out-of-control government, in spite of all of the spin to the contrary, and that is what is worrying both of our established political parties. They both are beginning to realize that they will either have to change to reflect the will of the people or go the same way that the dinosaur went.
