Well, it looks like Andrew Sullivan has found a fellow Triglodyte in Joy Behar. Together, they plumb the dark mystery of Sarah Palin’s fifth pregnancy, an inquiry that has become Sully’s increasingly creepy raison d’être.
I wonder what Freud would think of Sullivan’s Palin fixation? Would he wonder about similarities between Palin and Sully’s mother, or if that infamous Newsweek cover produced unfamiliar and frightening stirrings in him?
Much has been made of Sullivan’s ostentatious departure from the Right. Perhaps there other internal changes with which he has not yet come to terms. At any rate, the following suggests that anyone these two hate can’t be all bad:
