I’m beginning to like this Anthony Weiner guy. He’s a left-leaning Democrat from New York, but at least he heard yesterday’s wake-up call from Massachusetts. When a reporter asked him about a meeting in which the House “leadership” briefed the rank and file about health care negotiations with the White House, he delivered himself of the following:
They’re talking as if, ‘What our deal is, what our negotiators are at the White House’ — yeah, and then the last line is, ‘Pigs fly out of my ass’ … it’s just, we’ve got to recognize we are in an entirely different scenario.
