It’s not just the voters of Massachusetts who want this farce to stop. Gallup shows that a majority of the electorate has had enough:
In the wake of Republican Scott Brown’s victory in Tuesday’s U.S. Senate election in Massachusetts, the majority of Americans (55%) favor Congress’ putting the brakes on its current healthcare reform efforts and considering alternatives that can obtain more Republican support.
Only 39% want to keep up the charade. Here’s the visual:
The people who run Congress and the White House had better wake up and smell the coffee. If the Democrats continue to ignore the public, they WILL reap the whirlwind.

For some insight into why Joe Lieberman has been reluctant to cooperate on certain aspects of Obamacare, this poll of Connecticut voters (via Ed Morrissey) confirms that the national trend against Democrat health care “reform” includes the blue states. Massachusetts is no outlier. Lieberman’s constituents are apparently against it 51% to 34%.
