Well, now we know how he behaves when backed into a corner by the voters. He says he’d rather not be re-elected than listen to the American people:
I’d rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president.
Ask and you shall receive, dude!

Riddle me this: how does one become a really good,one-term, president? Isn’t a one-term president, by definition, mediocre (at best)?

You may be on to something. Maybe that’s what Krauthammer was getting at when he suggested that Obama was leaving out a third choice: “a mediocre one-term pesident.”
