VIDEO: SHEA-PORTER SAYS TESTOSTERONE IS THE MAIN OBSTACLE TO REFORM

You may have been under the impression that Obamacare’s troubles emanate from the public option or the Cadillac tax, but it turns out to be a Y chromosome problem. New Hampshire Democrat Carol Shea-Porter says the biggest obstacle to health care reform is men. She says that Congress could get Obamacare done if the … ah … male members were sent home: “We go to the ladies room and the Republican women and the Democratic women and we just roll our eyes.â€?

You naysayers seldom get it right. Congresswoman Shea-Porter did NOT say what you have attributed to her. She VERY CLEARLY said the Republican women were the source of the quote.

    Two points:

    1) She attributes this sentiment to “Republican women,” but conveniently fails to name any.

    2) She makes it blindingly obvious that she is in accord with (if she isn’t the actual source of) the “send the men home” comment.

My guess is that this is HER opinion and that she invented the “Republican women in the Ladies room” tale to make it sound less wacky.
