Sarah Palin has endorsed Rand Paul, who is running for Senate in Kentucky, hoping to replace retiring Senator Jim Bunning. Paul’s web site says the endorsement comes with a generous donation.

In a statement, Palin says she’s proud to support grass roots candidates like Paul. She also says that while there are issues they disagree on, they both agree ‘it’s time to shake up the status quo in Washington and stand up for commonsense ideas.’

I and others have issues with his Dad, but Rand Paul seems to be a pretty sensible guy. Like Ron Paul, he’s a physician, and his views on health care reform are pretty sound:

It is well known that socialism leads to long lines, rationing, and a lack of choice. But more importantly, socialized medicine stifles innovation. We might not have the best coverage in this country (as a result of government intervention), but we do have the best health care. That is because we are the only country that rewards innovation on the market place. The answer therefore is more and not less freedom.

This endorsement, combined with that “generous donation” from Sarah PAC, will no doubt cause a new outbreak of Sarahphobia and produce another round of MSM Palin-bashing.

Do not worry about Sarah Palin bashers and the rest of the left elite media that idolized Obama like God. They are losing momentum and credibililty. Look at the hypocrisy of people like Michael Moore. This guy “hates” capitalism but is earning millions of dollars out of it—–making films discrediting Capitalism. Moore should donate all his millions to jobless Americans.

Still don’t see the problem with his father. He made more sense than all of the other candidates on both sides in 2008.
