FOX POLL: ONLY 23% OF VOTERS WANT DEMS TO CONTINUE WITH CURRENT REFORM BILLS

The House and Senate versions of Obamacare are as dead as Ted Kennedy, and this survey shows that only a small minority of registered voters want these boondoggles revived:

A new Fox News Poll shows that less than one-quarter of American voters support passage of the legislation currently before Congress (23 percent).

In fact, fewer than half of Democrat voters support the current congressional health care “reform” bills, and nearly 40% of these folks want Congress to start over:

Democrats are nearly evenly split between wanting the current legislation to pass (42 percent) and starting over (38 percent).

Needless to say, most Republican voters want Congress to go back to the drawing board on reform. But a majority of independents also want to start over again:

Slight majorities of both Republicans (53 percent) and independents (52 percent) would like Congress to start over on health reform.

Now that we’re in an election year, and drawing closer to November every day, fewer and fewer House and Senate Democrats will be willing to ignore such numbers.
