Well, it doesn’t require Nostradamian prescience to predict the gist of any upcoming book from this former Palin aide:

Nicolle Wallace, the former White House communications director who famously clashed with Sarah Palin while working as a senior adviser to the McCain-Palin campaign, has signed on to write a novel that ‘follows the first female President of the United States …’

Wallace, you will recall, was the incompetent staffer who created the ridiculous wardrobe flap, and was also the source of many CYA comments leaked to the media when it became clear that McCain would lose.

Wallace also went on the air to trash Palin when the latter’s autobiography, ”Going Rogue,” painted her,  Steve Schmidt and other McCain campaign staffers in a none-too-flattering light:

She hated me from the beginning. I try not to take it personally. The fact is, she wrote a book based on fabrications … This book is a bizarre fixation on things that everyone else has moved on from.

This does, come to think of it, suggest that Nicolle Wallace would be a good writer of fiction. I mean she has certainly produced a lot of it since she and Schmidt drove McCain’s campaign into the ground.

This is good news: if she’s being forced to turn to the ultra-competitive world of fiction-writing, then it’s pretty clear nobody is willing to touch her w/ a ten foot pole for her sage campaign advice.

Why was Wallace on McCain’s staff? She was a friend of Katie Couric and convinced Palin to do the interview with Couric. Wallace sounds like a Gen-Xer who wants attention.
