They have so infected the words "Health Care Reform" that it was an attempt to stamp the Republican leaders with the words "traitor" to most of the electorate while at the same time declaring they are the party of "no." It was politically savvy and needs a politically savvy response. Tell them that the Republicans will absolutely attend a bi-partisan meeting about health care reform PROVIDING that they scrap the 2700 page plan that most Americans and apparently Democrats oppose and start anew. If not, then go to the Blair House and demand, in front of the media, that they do it, that the Republican leadership is willing and able to attend such a meeting, and will wait for their answer before walking inside the building. I'd plan a rally on that day, complete with tea party-like supporters, congressmen and congresswomen holding signs, giving speeches, and the like requesting that the Administration and Democrats in power REALLY have a valid conversation. Don't let them control the "field of battle" and turn it into your own advantage. It's not just politics, it means everything to real people.
