Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell hammers today’s East Room speech and the “reform” bill Obama threatened to ram through with reconciliation. Rank-and-file Dems would be wise to heed McConnell’s words—-even if Obama isn’t:

This isn’t an argument between Democrats and Republicans. This is an argument between the Democrats and the American people … If this bill is somehow passed … every election in America this Fall will be a referendum on this issue.
