DEJA VU: THE “NEWS” MEDIA DEPICT KILL-THE-BILL RALLY AS RACIST

Well, the “newsâ€? media and the Lefty blogosphere are smearing today’s Kill-Obamacare rally as (surprise!) racist. As the following pic from one of last summer’s protests makes clear, we have been here before:

That this meme is predictable, trite and utterly absurd didn’t cause MSM “reporters” any hesitation whatsoever. They plunged right in with their pre-written theme that the protest was essentially a big KKK rally.

Several House members said there was an ugly tone to comments made by some demonstrators against three black lawmakers … James E. Clyburn of South Carolina, said, ‘I heard people saying things today that I have not heard since March 15, 1960, when I was marching to try to get off the back of the bus.’

Not a syllable of this horse manure has been substantiated with audio, video or any other credible evidence. Nonetheless, it is being reported as verified fact by countless “respectable” news outlets:

Protesters outside the Capitol hurled epithets at Reps. John Lewis (D-Ga.) and Andre Carson (D-Ind.) … Carson told reporters that protesters yelled “kill the bill,” then used a racial epithet to describe Carson and Lewis, who is a revered figure on both sides of the aisle.

We have now reached the point at which the establishment media are no more credible than Pravda. The NYT, WaPo and the broadcast news programs are nothing more than house organs of the Democrat Party.

UPDATE:

Free Republic has found a video of the incident involving Lewis and Carson. And, to no one’s surprise, there are no racial epithets to heard—-only “Kill the bill.” Watch and listen:
