The only downside that I can see about Stupak’s retirement is that it deprives us of the pleasure of seeing him get whipped in November.
In his typically self-serving farewell letter, this sanctimonious fraud actually has the guts to boast about his betrayal of his erstwhile principles:
Last month, we finally accomplished what I set out to do 18 years ago - we passed comprehensive national health care reform … I’m proud to have helped bring it across the finish line.
Likewise, many of us are delighted to see Stupak’s tawdry little career finally reach the “finish line.” As Michelle Malkin puts it, DLTDHYOTWO.

I don’t think it’s so much “guts” as it is “gall”.
