NO PALIN PIN INVOLVED BAUTSCH BEATING

There has been a good deal of justifiable anger in the conservative blogosphere concerning the deafening MSM silence about the assault on Louisiana GOP Gov. Bobby Jindal’s campaign fundraising chief, Allee Bautsch.

And there can be little doubt that the “news” media would be buzzing with the story if the victim had been a Democrat aide. The entire Tea Party movement would have been indicted by the MSM and the Dems (but I repeat myself).

Still, it’s important to get the facts straight. And one “fact” that appears not to have been an actual fact is the role of Bautsch’s “Palin” pin in inciting the violence. According to Michelle Malkin, Bautsch wasn’t wearing Palin pin:

I just heard from [Jindal press secretary Kyle] Plotkin that Bautsch and her boyfriend were NOT wearing Palin pins.

So, who knows what really happened. This did take place in New Orleans, after all. It’s a town in which violent crime is not exactly unknown. The beating could have been about politics. Or it could have been about nothing.

Unfortunately, if it was about politics, you can bet the MSM will ignore it. It doesn’t fit the party line. I mean, everyone knows that all anti-Obamacare and anti-tax types are violent maniacs. And the Obots are sooooooo peaceful.

Right?
