In their frantic search for some way to silence the Tea Party movement, the Dems, the media and various “liberal” activists have attempted to portray all anti-tax and anti-Obamacare types as racists. Last night’s pathetically unfunny jokes from braying ass comedian Bill Maher were just the latest example.
None of this is terribly surprising. ”Progressives” have always feared free expression. But there is one feature of their Tea Party strategy that I would not have predicted—-many of the Lefties who have been trying to smear the Tea Partiers are obviously not very bright. Take these two dolts (please):
And then there is this hilarious video of a hopelessly whitebread (and dull-witted) NBC “reporter” being slam-dunked by a black Tea Partier:
These two videos provide a useful reality check. Many of our “progressive” friends are not merely dishonest smear merchants. A lot of them are just plain dumb. Maybe that’s why they’re Lefties.

Michelle Malkin has a good post this morning about the hypocrisy of the people who would like us to believe that the Tea Party movement is racist. She points out that the “newsâ€? organizations (NYT, AP, MSNBC, etc.) that continue to push this meme are all run by white people. This, by the way, is a consistent feature of the “progressive” community, a fact that I wrote about last year in this post.

Not surprisingly, the people seeing the imaginary racism are white liberals, who have a long history of supporting legislation surpressing the black people and making them slaves to the government.

Posted 18 Apr 2010 at 7:48 am ¶How do you explain that the vast majority of tea partiers are white? And that they are much more likely to say that black people get preferential treatment? One thing that does seem to be true though is that tea partiers are not stupid – they are more educated than average. Which makes their views even more worrying. It’s from their fringes we can expect another Timothy McVeigh to emerge.

As it happens, Marc, the Tea Party movement contains a higher percentage of African-Americans than does the “progressive” community.
So, you go first: If you can explain the phenomenon discussed in this post, I’ll chase your red herring about the alleged whiteness of the Tea Party movement.

And to take their logic a step further; the Tea Party wants smaller government and less debt for their children so in the eyes of the NYT only white people think more of their children than they do of big government?
Black people should be loyal to a black President and big Government regardless of what he and the Government are doing to their children?
