REID: OBAMACARE “MOST IMPORTANT THING WE’VE DONE FOR THE WORLD”

As I pointed out a couple of weeks ago, Harry Reid is none too popular with the folks back home. Nevada voters have correctly concluded that he has stopped representing them and started representing a cadre of special interests that, for all intents and purposes, own the Democrat Party.

Reid’s strategy for fixing his damaged reputation is bizarre. Instead of trying to convince his constituents that he has not really sold his soul, he is bragging about his role in passing one of the most unpopular pieces of legislation in modern times, a bill that reeks of corruption and backroom deals:

The most important thing we’ve done for the country and the world is health care.

Huh? My first thought when I read this was that Harry had been hitting the sauce. But maybe it was a Freudian slip. Perhaps his unconcious hope is that Obamacare will cause the Democrats  to lose Congress. Maybe he was pleading with the voters to ”stop us before we legislate again.”

That would indeed be good “for the country and the world.” Here’s hoping the voters hear his unconcious plea.

If you think Reid is bad, what do you think of his GOP opponent Sue Lowden who would like people to try bartering healthcare for a chicken?

Well, she’s not Reid’s opponent just yet. She has to win the primary first.
