Whenever the voters are foolish enough to put Democrats in power, two things inevitably happen: They create all manner of expensive entitlements, and then they start leaning on the taxpayers to cough up.
In service of the latter, the state of PA produced this creepy ad for what it calls “tax amnesty.” Note the none-to-subtle threat to put tax liens on Tom’s house and car. Will the IRS be running such ads soon?

Talk about the wrong economy and the wrong time to be running an ad about the govt coming to get you when people (vis-a-vis the Tea Parties) have already had way, way more than enough of being abused at the hands of their ‘betters.’
