CATRON’S PERFECT DAY

I slept late, ignored my laptop, and spent most of the morning in the shade watching this Great Crested Flycatcher build a nest in a knothole (upper right of the photo):

Then I rode my bike, a Giant TCR like the one below (only mine has Ksyrium wheels and Dura-Ace components), for a couple of hours through the countryside:

Then I went out with the family, drank a margarita and ate chicken fajitas, content in the knowledge that I had done absolutely nothing constructive all day.

Twas perfect.

    Nothing constructive? I’d put you not posting more nonsense high on my list. Anyway, sounds like a nice day - we’ve just spent a week at a friend’s house in England’s Cotswolds, where wild ducks and pheasants come up to the side door to feed from your hand.
