The Obama regime and its congressional co-conspirators are speeding up the implementation of Obamacare’s “benefits” in the hope of staving of disaster in November:

President Barack Obama and his Democratic allies are using the levers of government to speed up and promote what they consider the most popular aspects of the new health care law before a highly skeptical public passes judgment in November.

True to form, they are lying about it:

The administration says there is no connection between its efforts and the looming 2010 congressional campaign.

Right … So, this is just a coincidence?

In one case, the administration moved so quickly … that it cut short the conventional period for the public to weigh in on the new rule. In another, it used taxpayer money to alert small businesses that they will get a break on this year’s taxes.

The alleged benefits were always front-loaded, but …

With the administration moving even sooner than the law mandates, it’s basically front-loading the front-loading, with considerable publicity assistance from friendly advocacy groups.

“Friendly advocacy groups” like the HHS bureaucracy:

The law provides $1 billion to HHS for administrative costs to implement its part of the legislation, including promotion and education. A spokeswoman said there is no breakdown available on how the money is to be spent.

In this case, “promotion and education” will be de facto campaign ads for Democrats whose seats are endangered because they defied the will of the public on Obamacare.

In other words, the government agency responsible for administering government health care programs is just another branch of the Democrat party. That’s change you can believe in.
