Last Sunday I posted a video of an SEIU-organized mob that descended on the private home of Gregory Baer, a lawyer for Bank of America, and asked the following rhetorical question:
Will we see MSM “reportersâ€? frown into the camera and speculate about who is “really behindâ€? this transparently astroturfed performance? Will we hear Chris Matthews or some other talking head braying about how ’scary’ this is?
Predictably, the “news” media (except Fox) have been as silent as the tomb. This is particularly ironic considering that, unlike the Tea Partiers whom they revile, these thugs actually broke the law:
The angry mob had bullhorns, signs and even broke the law by trespassing to bully Baer’s teenage son, the only one home at the time, who locked himself in the bathroom out of fear.
Now, try to imagine the MSM reaction if hundreds of Tea Partiers stormed the private home of some union lobbyist: hysterical ”reporters” from every corner of the media would have compared the episode to Kristallnacht.
But if we’re talking about a big source of (often illegal) campaign donations to the Dems, the ”news” media are no more interested than they are in government bailouts of Obama cronies.
But we really don’t have a free press anymore. The MSM is the American equivalent of Pravda. And its “reporting” is done by moral cowards who parrot the party line and call it ”the truth.”
Thus, we have NYT columnists braying about the “racism” implicit in opposition to Obamacare and historically illiterate TIME reporters comparing a GOP campaign ad to a 17th-century bomb plot.
The MSM is no longer merely biased, or simply unfair. It has become a clear and present danger to the republic.Â
