One reason the MSM devoted so little coverage to Arlen Specter’s loss in PA involves the probable attempt by the White House to buy off his opponent, Joe Sestak. This is more serious than most people realize. As Judge Napolitano puts it in this video:
It doesn’t matter if it was a job as a janitor. Offering him anything of value to get him leave a political race is a felony, punishable by five years in jail.
If the President was dumb enough to do it personally, it would render him liable to impeachment:Â
UPDATE
Sestak repeated his charge against the Obama administration this morning on “Meet the Press,â€? whose host was far less interested in the possible criminal conduct of the White House than in the congressman’s temerity in sticking to his story.
Sestak suggested in none-too-subtle terms that the “news media should do its job and press the White House for a straight answer on this. Oddly, the MSM and even some conservatives seem to think it’s Sestak’s job to investigate this thing.
