OBAMA WILL HOLD TOWN HALL TO PROMOTE BILLION-DOLLAR VOTE-BUYING SCHEME

Tomorrow, the President will kick off a new campaign to sell Obamacare the American public. He will hold a town hall in Maryland to unveil what has to be the most brazen vote-buying scheme of modern times:

Mr. Obama travels to Wheaton, MD … to trumpet one of the law’s most popular features: $250 rebate checks to help Medicare beneficiaries pay for prescription drugs.

Knowing that seniors are mad as hell that Obamacare requires huge Medicare cuts, Obama is betting he can buy the geezers off before the midterms. And when do the checks start going out?

The timing [of the Wheaton town hall] is no accident; the first batch of checks will be mailed on Thursday.

As I pointed out last month, Obama and his co-conspirators are planning to send out about 4 million of these $250 checks. For any “progressives” reading this, that means the scheme will end up costing $1 billion.

The alleged reason for mailing these checks involves closing the much-maligned “doughnut hole in Medicare Part-D. But the timing is a LEEEEEEETLE suspicious. The checks will all go out between now and November.

And it is also “no accident” that the Medicare cuts won’t happen until after the midterms. Can our seniors be so easily fooled? We’ll see if Obama’s Wheaton town hall is more stimulating than was this event.
