Showing more alacrity than we are used to seeing from the White House, Robert Gibbs jumped at the chance to denounce Helen Thomas’ recent anti-Semitic remarks as “offensive and reprehensible�:
Obviously those remarks are … do not reflect certainly the opinion of most people in here, and certainly not of the administration.
I wish I could believe Gibbs on that last point. Some of the behavior we have seen from this administration toward Israel suggests that there isn’t very much daylight between Thomas and our President.

Well, it looks like Thomas retired (like she had a choice after being dropped by Hearst, the White House Correspondents Association, et al). So, when are the rest of the anti-Semites who infest the MSM going to quit?
