ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER OCARE LIE EXPOSED

During the Obamacare debate, the President’s most frequently repeated promise was that we would be able to keep our health insurance plans if we liked them. Philip Klein provides an exact quote from Obama’s AMA speech:

If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your health care plan, period. No one will take it away, no matter what.

Well, today we received additional proof (like we needed it) that this was simply another of Obama’s trademark whoppers. Per the Associated Press:

Over and over in the health care debate, President Barack Obama said people who like their current coverage would be able to keep it. But an early draft of an administration regulation estimates that many employers will be forced to make changes to their health plans under the new law.

And how many workers will be affected by this?

In just three years, a majority of workers — 51 percent — will be in plans subject to new federal requirements, according to midrange projections in the draft.

When you add the millions of seniors who will be kicked off of their Medicare Advantage plans, and the million low-income workers who will lose their low-cost plans, the number of people who CAN’T keep their coverage is much larger than the number who can.

And the beat goes on.
