The next time you find yourself behind a BMW with an “Educator” license plate, think about this video. Jay Leno asks a variety of people, including a woman who “teaches” at a college, basic questions about American history and July 4th.
The only guy who knew any of the answers went to school before the unions got control of our education system. This kind of ignorance is not just embarrassing. It is a clear & present danger to the republic:

Are the unions responsible for the school curricula in your country? Doesn’t sound likely to me.

As it happens, my wife was a teacher and spent the best part of a decade on the local school board.
One of her frustrations in the latter role was the near impossibility of ejecting even the most ignorant “educator.”
