THE AMA GETS NO RESPECT IN THE MORNING

My new column at the American Spectator discusses the humiliating failure of the AMA’s roundheel strategy. J. James Rohack, who recently stepped down from his post as the organization’s President, climbed into bed with the Dems and didn’t even get paid for his “services”:

The country’s largest physician association has completely compromised its integrity and received virtually nothing in return. Rohack and his fellow quislings delivered their patients and colleagues into the hands of Washington’s health care bureaucrats in exchange for yet another temporary reprieve from Medicare payment cuts.

The end of such temporary reprieves is what the Dems promised the AMA  in return for its support of Obamacare. Rohack was told that Congress would pass a “permanent fix” to the Medicare payment system. But, once Obamacare was passed, the Dems had no incentive to honor the deal.
