Apparently, Senator Mikulski (D-Md) is jealous of all the attention Sheila Jackson Lee is getting for her idiotic Viet Nam speech. So, when the folks from CNSNews asked about the controversial views of our new CMS administrator, she began discussing his confirmation hearings:
I’m going to look at what the health reform bill is … And as we go through the confirmation hearings, we’ll say, ‘Dr. Berwick, you know what the law is, do you intend to follow it?’
Er … Senator … the President gave Dr. Berwick a recess appointment ten days ago. That means no confirmation hearings, dear.
