In recent elections, TIPP has the best accuracy record of any public polling firm, and it shows Obama’s approval rating in a free fall as the voters contemplate the end of Democrat control of Congress:
Likely voters favor GOP control of Congress over continued Democratic rule by 50%-39%, up from 48%-43% in July.
Note that there is also bad news for the Dems where voter enthusiasm is concerned. Nine out of ten GOP voters are very likely to vote, and nearly 7 in 10 are “extremely interested” in the election. And then there are the indies:
The difference was even more pronounced among independents who will decide the elections. They favor a GOP Capitol Hill by 56%-26%, up sharply from 52%-31% in July.
As Michael Corleone might put it, it’s time to pay for Obamacare.
