GALLUP: 75% OF AMERICANS MISTRUST MSM

This shouldn’t be a surprise, considering how often the “news” media have lied to us about Obamacare (and every other important issue), but it’s still amazing that only a quarter of Americans trust the information provided by an industry whose primary role is to provide information:

Americans continue to express near-record-low confidence in newspapers and television news — with no more than 25% of Americans saying they have a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in either.

And as the following chart shows, the public trusts television “news” even less than traditional newspapers. Only 22% trust broadcast news media “great deal” or “quite a lot,” down from 46% in 1993.

On the bright side, the MSM doesn’t fare as badly as the Democrat-controlled Congress. At present, only 11% of Americans say they have “a great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in Congress (worse than 1993).
