Nancy Pelosi’s response to her involuntary termination as Speaker of the House suggests that she hasn’t quite absorbed its significance for her own life:

We have taken the country in a new direction and we are not going back to the failed policies of the past.

Er … Nancy … You don’t get to drive anymore. Now someone else gets the wheel. Still, it’s been an interesting ride. So, thanks for the memories:
