Well, they’re consistent. You have to give them that. No matter how much evidence we get of ObamaCare’s unpopularity,  the “news” media continue to tell us that the public likes “reform”:

A majority of Americans want the Congress to keep the new health care law or actually expand it, despite Republican claims that they have a mandate from the people to kill it, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll.

What crap. It’s obvious from the exit polls and post-election surveys that ObamaCare was a huge factor in the GOP landslide. Even progressive poll analyst Nate Silver confirms that reality:

Democrats were punished by voters for their bailout and health care votes … It does seem fairly clear, however, that individual Democrats who voted against the health care bill … overperformed those who did in otherwise similar districts …

This is consistent with the analysis done by Philip Klein right after the election, and a good piece from TNR laid it out plainly enough to be absorbed by the meanest (i.e. progressive) intelligence:

Putting all the data together, it is hard to avoid the conclusion that the health reform bill had an independent impact on the Democrats … reducing their support below the level to which the economy alone could have depressed it.

Nonetheless, we are still seeing “surveys” in the MSM that ask us to believe the ObamaCare boondoggle is somehow popular with the voters who hammered the Democrats for passing it.

The national “news” media are just as corrupt as their accomplices in the White House and DNC.
