Pretty soon, so many entities will have been granted waivers that repealing ObamaCare will be redundant and the various lawsuits will be rendered moot. The total has now reached 222:
The Obama Administration has quietly granted even more waivers to one provision of the new federal health reform law, doubling the number in just the last three weeks to a new total of 222.
The latest winners? Waffle House, Universal Orlando, Pearson Candy Company, etc. And there is, of course, a long list of unions who have received new waivers:
Bricklayers Local 1 of MD, VA and DC, the United Food and Commercial Workers Union in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, the Indiana Teamsters Health Benefits Fund, Service Employees International Union Local 1 Cleveland Welfare Fund, and more.
But the list isn’t easy to find on the Health and Human Services web site. You have to dig. Unless you’re a loyal reader of Health Care BS (Hi, Mom), in which case you merely need to click here.
