NEW POLL: VOTERS SAY LEFTY RHETORIC WORSE THAN THAN RIGHTY RHETORIC

This is an interesting comment on the dwindling influence of the “news” media. Despite a concerted effort by the MSM to blame the Tucson shooting on “right-wing vitriol,” the voters just aren’t buying. In fact, a new Quinnipiac survey shows that actual voters think the left is more responsible for “heated rhetoric.”

Liberals rather than conservatives are more responsible for such rhetoric, voters say 36 - 32 percent.

This must have been an unpleasant surprise to the pollsters, who tucked the above sentence in a semi-coherent passage about whether heated rhetoric causes crazy people to do crazy stuff. This irrelevant issue is, of course, one of the straw men our progressive friends have been hammering since Tucson.

Meanwhile, despite this poll and a CBS poll done early in the week showing that 57 percent of the general public aren’t falling for the “vitriolic rhetoric” meme, the MSM keeps working it. And this is nothing new for these people. Here’s a nice round-up of similarly irresponsible “reporting” from the MSM.
