The GOP’s budget proposal was presented today by Rep. Paul Ryan, the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, and it purports to contain not a penny for ObamaCare:

The Republican proposal says one of its aims is ‘making sure that not a penny goes toward implementing the new [health care] law enacted last year.

This includes repealing all those new taxes that were built into the law:

The health-care law enacted last year contained roughly $800 billion in new taxes and tax increases … The proposal calls for repealing all of these new taxes and tax increases as part of repealing the entirety of the Obamacare law.

The GOP budget also attempts to get the debt crisis under control. My favorite part of the following is Ryan’s comment about what happens when the CBO feeds the data from Obama’s debt-laden budget into its economic simulation model:

    It looks like he doesn’t care about the debt at all. What Ryan and his colleagues want to achieve is defeating Obama and making all his reforms look totally inefficient.
